About Us
His Growing Grove Childcare Center is an extension of the ministry of the First Presbyterian Church of Hayward, and a licensed nonprofit childcare center. For almost 40 years, we’ve provided care and education for children from infancy through kindergarten prep.
We are committed to providing quality care and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children as they explore their environments, engage with peers, and are supported by caregivers through a play-based approach.
For nearly 40 years, we have aimed to be a community of learners, teachers, and families that live out the love and teachings of Jesus in our classrooms, homes and communities. We value love, acceptance and belonging for all people, and welcome all families seeking care for their child(ren) regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marriage or disability status.
